1964 Awarded a French Government scholarship and lives in Paris.
1967 Moves to Bristol where he teaches painting and print-making.
1969 First one-man exhibition at the Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol.
1971 Moves to live in Devizes, Wiltshire.
1975 The Brotherhood of Ruralists is formed comprising David Inshaw, Peter Blake, Graham and Ann Arnold, Jann Howarth and Graham and Annie Ovendon. Resigns from teaching post at Bristol. Appointed Fellow Commoner in Creative Art at Trinity College, Cambridge.
